The Countdown Begins

So I am about to throw myself into 2 things I love more than anything in the world... traveling abroad and blogging. Countdown is 3 days until I embark to Europe for 2 weeks. I am feeling the usual feelings of anyone about to do this, which are panic and excitement.

Those of you who know me well probably will guess that I'm going alone, as I've been known to do before. However, this time I've got my girl Melissa traveling with me. I met Melissa in India 2 summers ago and we connected in a way that can't be described. If any of you believe in friends as soul mates, this describes my friendship with Melissa. She is amazing and after a one line facebook message that said, "Europe this summer?" -- our trip was in the making. Melissa lives in Brooklyn, so I am flying to Newark, meeting up with her, and then flying to London together.

Picture of us hot and sweaty in India.

I will say we are very much looking forward to nice weather, air conditioners, make up, internet and real showers on this trip! Should be the total opposite of our month in India together.

Our trip will start off with 2 free days in London from which I am hoping to score an awesome handbag that cannot be purchased in the US. If any of you have been in my bedroom, and for those of you who haven't... I have an entire wall full of handbags. Can't resist them and I definitely will be on the look out in Europe for additions!

From London we will proceed to Amsterdam, Germany Switzerland and Paris with a chartered group. Once the group tour is over Melissa and I are hopping an overnight Eurorail to Barcelona for our last 2 days.

If any of you have been to Europe I would welcome any tips. And for those of you who haven't, I will try to share my experiences as best I can on here. And invite you to come on a virtual trip with me through my blog.

Enjoy and thanks for reading!

XOXO,
Janelle
