Black Forest Region, Germany

So here is what was hyped up more than you can believe... before me sits a piece of black forest chocolate cake and we are IN the Black Forest region of Germany. Melissa and I were so excited, this was our lunch. We skipped all real food and went straight for the cake.Shortly after this photo was taken another one should have been taken with a big disappointed look on my face. It was awfullllllllllllllll............. But did we eat it all?..., yea! Cost like ten bucks.

Strangely up until today we were getting the feeling everything in Europe is like everything in America only double the cost. But today we hit Paris and that all changed. Stories to come!

To sum up this post.......the cake sucked. If you get the chance go for some at home.

XOXO,
J.

P.S. Up top was the place we were at. Also this area of Germany is home of the cuckoo clocks.

What America Hasn't Thought of Yet

Germany's Internet Blows

So sorry the following 3 posts will be boring. For some reason this is not letting me post my pictures. Doesn't this country know blogging is my #1 priority on this trip? Melissa knows it! Ugh. Very frustrated right now.

But we just checked into the hotel, had dinner and now have the rest of the night free. Not much to do and we have a late start tomorrow of 8:15. Which will be awesome, we get to sleep in a little. That is the one thing about this trip that we are not really liking... it's rush, rush, rush, go, go, go. And our tour guide is a Nazi. We don't ever want to be the last ones to the bus and have made sure that hasn't happened yet!

Tomorrow we are off to Switzerland and have been told there are some great places to buy watches, Swiss Army knives and chocolate. We are also going through Black Forest (where the cake originated) -------- so you can be sure we'll be having some amazing cake tomorrow. Hopefully pictures will follow tomorrow night.

Thanks for reading!
XOXO,
J.
